Our Wonderful Supporters

Mid-Toronto Community Services receives, with thanks, financial support from the Ontario Ministry of Health, City of Toronto, United Way of Toronto, foundations, corporations, churches, small businesses and generous members of our community.

Our volunteers provided 19,934 hours of service to our clients in 2010. This is the equivalent to 11 full time staff! Without the contributions of our dedicated and caring volunteers, we would not be able to help so many people in need.Small heart logo

Scotiabank donates a generous $40,000 to our Meals on Wheels Program over the next 2 years.

Scotiabank Logo

Over the next 2 years, Mid-Toronto's Meals on Wheels Program will receive an amazing $40,000 from Scotiabank. This very generous donation ensures access to nutritious food regardless of a persons' economic situation. And it relieves a huge burden from our Meals on Wheels Program given the increasing demand for this service. In fact, due to the great need for this program, we've had to have a waitlist in the past; a difficult and heartbreaking situation. Fortunately, the kind support and commitment received from Scotiabank will go a long way, making sure a waitlist is not necessary. Most importantly, it will continue to provide nutritious food and a friendly 'check-in' from a volunteer for vulnerable people in need. Thank you to Scotiabank for this very kind and generous donation to our Meals on Wheels Program.

Sun Life Financial makes a generous $12,260 donation to our 2010 Holiday Campaign

Sun Life Financial Logo

Sun Life Financial has been a longtime supporter of Mid-Toronto Community Services. This is the 5th year they’ve supported our Holiday Campaign making it possible for our clients to receive nutritious meals, clothing and other essentials. But most importantly they help make sure those who are alone during the holiday season are not forgotten – this means the world to us and the people we help. Mid-Toronto Community Services would like to extend our grateful appreciation to Sun Life Financial for their generous support.

The RBC Foundation makes a generous $10,000 donation to our Adult & Alzheimer Day Programs.
