Be a Volunteer
Mid-Toronto Community Services is committed to involving volunteers on many levels and for many reasons. Volunteers participate in and enrich all of our programs and services. And volunteering provides opportunities for personal growth and to learn new skills.
Many of our programs including, meals on wheels and telephone reassurance are almost entirely volunteer driven. Without the dedication and support of our volunteers, these vital programs could not be delivered.
Our Board of Directors is a voluntary body with representation from clients, caregivers, community members and various health and business professionals.
Some of our exciting volunteer opportunities include:
- Adult Day Program Worker
- Board Member
- Community Transportation Driver
- Food for Life Driver
- Food for Life Runner
- Meals on Wheels Driver
- Meals on Wheels Runner
- Office Assistant
- Telephone Reassurance caller
Become a volunteer today! You will;
- help people in need
- make a difference
- be involved in your local community
- meet new people and have fun
- receive references and recognition
